You may remember my friend Paul Stancato from Cupid... well Paul and two of his close friends from Chicago wrote a play a few years ago called ROCK SHOW . When I saw the play (finally) in the summer of 2004 at the Kraine in the East Village. I was throughly impressed. So impressed, I bought the company. If it's not the closest shave you've ever had, I'll give you your money back. Seriously, though, I did believe in the production enough to become a producer and get involved in adapting the play for a new run at The El Flamingo, home of the world famous Donkey Show. It's the story of a band on the verge of making it, if they can overcome the forces that threaten to tear them apart. With a dozen hard rocking original songs, it's a fistful of rock with an adrenaline chaser.

We premiered the new version on January 19th and 20th and it was a resounding success with packed houses both nights, including guest appearances by Rhett Miller of the Old 97s and Chris Barron of the Spin Doctors.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support us, and for those of you who missed it, we hope to have news of new dates in the near future.

Now that the confidentiality agreement has expired, I can finally post my pictures from the Cupid finale. Whle there are no earth shaking revelations to be found in this gallery, it is a fun retrospective of our last days with the the Little Reality Show That Couldn't.

Shazam! I am proud to announce the birth of my niece, Celia Rose Schmeidler. Rachel and Daniel and Celia are doing just fine. It was the fastest labor on record: 12 minutes of pushing and done! No kidding! Eat your hearts out, pregnant ladies. Congrats to my very proud sister and brother-in-law on their new addition. Check out the pics, hot off the press.

A number of people have asked me why I have chosen to torment Andy in this fashion. It wasn't meant as torment, it was fun. The fact that it torments him is a bonus. Nonetheless, since Andy has dangerously high cholesterol and his unchecked outrage threatens to make him physically explode, I've decided to take down the Andy page in an act of mercy, as it's murder to get blood and fat out of the carpet.

I just want to say thank you to everyone for their well wishes and support. It was knowing that you were all behind me that enabled me to press on, and I am grateful beyond my ability to express. I am rich, for I have been blessed with friends like you. Thank you.

So back in November I agreed to be on this personals show on MetroChannel, Strictly Personal. They taped me in December, it aired February.

Pat was kind enough to convert the video to Real Media format for me (thanks buddy, you're dawesome!), click here to view it.

Or, if you don't have RealPlayer, try this version.

Well Steve and I have been officially ripped off. Thirteen months ago Steve authors "Xceed offers Maestro/Goodbye" and then these yahoos actually make and sell the software. This follows on the heels of life-imitating-art occurence of Xceed really doing a 10-1 reverse split last year after our own press release, "Xceed Proposes 1000-1 Reverse Split." What can I say? We're peripheral visionaries. Just don't ask for the lotto numbers, we're not telling.
